I think if there was a 'brave failures' DPS, Zoids would get my vote, but it'd be harsh to fling it in Retro Shamer.

Exactly. Retro Shamer is for games that are SO BAD they are a disgrace - bugged, unplayable rubbish. Zoids is just COMPLEX.

And yes, I have hit things with guided missiles.

'Nother vote for Bionic Granny here, although i do feel that any piece on it should mention all the other Mastertronic games like Jungle Story that were based on the same code base and almost as poor!

And i agree about Zoids not being a bad game; i'm utterly rubbish at it, but appreciate what they were doing.

i had to vote for Superman 64 as well. I saw the review in a games mag when it first came out. And it looked really, really, really..........bloody awful.

I can imagine it now: Superman, we need you!

Hang on, got to fly through these rings first!

Voted for Superman 64 as I have heard how bad it is from so many different sources.

I was about to go for Captain America and the Avengers, which I thought was an awful arcade conversion for the SNES.

At the moment Superman 64 is getting the vote.

I liked Zoids a lot, had it on the Speccy. I remember making good progress in it but never finishing it (and I did hit things with missiles). Unfortunately it's the only game on this list that I've played and I can't vote for it because I thought it was good :)

Perhaps we need an article in the mag called "So crap, it doesn't even get into Retro Shamer"

I love the cassette art so much it HAS to be featured somehow!

I was going to vote Bionic Granny but then I got a PM from a bloke called "David Darling" who told me Bionic Granny has "Super Real Graphics" and was "Packed with Family Fun", so I reconsidered.

I'm a bit torn - I voted Bionic Granny as its surely the worst of the bunch but I'm not actually sure I want to see two pages devoted to a two quid throway game, complete with rubbish sticklebrick screen-shots, in the mag

Maybe it would be a bit of fun though highlighting other early tosh by the Darlings for Mastertronic like Magic Carpet, Dark Star, Orbitron - all utter gash (sorry guys!)

Yeah I think Superman 64 was probably a game that had a big investment so the fact it was so poor makes it even wors, there were some truly horrible cheap 8-bit throwaway games, hell, they were even compilations proudly boasting the worst games!
