If one buys the X360 version one can use the same guitar with GH2 and Rock Band too.

With the PS2 version one can use the guitar with 4 games though (GH1, GH2, GH 80's and GH3).

The Wii version has mono sound so best to avoid (who knows when they'll fix it), and DLC plans are shaky.

PS3 version is of the same quality as the X360 version, but the guitar only works with GH3 for now.

Righto, I won't be getting the PS2 version.
Sounds like the Wii isn't using the motion sensor so no point in getting that one.

So basically the content is the same on xbox360 and PS3, just compatability of the guitar.

Hmm, probably go with PS3 then as that goes on the big telly (360 is through a monitor).

Oh, and the 360 got a free Halo Theme DLC track too, that I doubt the PS3 will get

Not such a big deal though.

Mean Streak - Spectrum: 10p
Super Grand Prix simulator - Amiga: 50p
Gladiators - Amiga: 30p (although, it has the same cover design as Sword Slayer for the Speccy by Players)
Super Skidmarks - MD: Â£1.99
Running Battle - MS: Â£1.99 (last two bogof offer in gamestation)
Super Mario Bros (unboxed)Nes: 99p

not a bad haul, really. they still had two copies of Super Empire Strikes back but at Â£19.99 they can shove 'em!

Just picked up Virtua Tennis and Formula 1 on PS3.

Also got Guitar Hero III on PS3. If anyone is interested they are doing it for Â£60 in HMV, which is Â£10-15 cheaper than everywhere else that I tried.

Traded in Pro Evo 2008 and Oblivion (PS3) for Assassin's Creed today, and also picked up Freelancer (PC) and Toejam & Earl (Megadrive) for Â£2 each.

Nah. I traded my 360 for it cause I was bored.

Now I am bored of the PS3. It's only been used about 5 times so hopefully I get a decent price for it.

I got it as I felt that I was finally getting sick of modern games, so I thought I would give them one last chance and try the PS3. But I just can't be bothered with modern gaming any more.

Sure, Motorstorm looks pretty, but after a couple of shots, it went back in the box. Same with the other games.

Pro Evo 2008 was the final straw. It's like they don't even bother trying to make games good anymore, cause they know people will buy them anyway.

So I have got a perfect condition PS3 (60GB), 2 controllers, HDMI cable, HDMI to DVI adapter, 7 games and 3 blurays to go on ebay, hopefully will get a decent amount for it.

Actually Pro Evo 2008 was the second last straw.

Assassins Creed was the very last straw.

A year of unbelievable hype, ending with a game that involves holding down two buttons and a direction on the controller, then watching the wee guy do all the running and jumping automatically.

Or being told exactly what you need to do all the time

"Listen to that conversation" "Sit on that bench" "Follow that man"

And also the most annoying unskippable cut-scenes in the history of the world.

Meh.
