Sealed dreamcast game

Post by Matt1280 » Wed Jun 12, 2019 8:34 am

Hi, I've got a sealed UEFA dream soccer dreamcast game that I want to sell as i'll never play it, but I have no idea how much to ask for it, any ideas?

Put it on for 99p and people will bid.

Be too greedy and everyone will ignore it

That's up to you. Personally I never do, I think it puts people off. I do £0.99 starts always and let people scrap it out. The most important thing is take several good pictures... this gives people the confidence in what they are bidding on.

UEFA Soccer for DC is neither rare nor desirable (there aren't any very good footie games on DC, merely competent ones). 99p start and take what you can get for it, since I anticipate there won't be many bidders. being sealed might stand you more chance of getting rid of it.

It should also be noted that sealed Dreamcast games aren't a particularly rare or uncommon thing. When I started buying for the Dreamcast back in 2011, there was still a huge amount of NOS that you could buy very cheaply at the click of a mouse. You could pick up brand new controllers, VMUs, even common games like Jet Set Radio, Metropolis Street Racer and the Virtua Tennis games. Things have changed a bit since then but that doesn't make your game valuable.

If you're happy to bide your time, you should be able to get about £10 shipped for it. Don't list for 99p because there won't be much interest and it'll only go for a few quid which is great for the buyer but not so good for the rookie seller who ends up selling for minus the cost of eBay fees and P&P.
