I'd like to clarify I wasn't bitching at all. Just expressing my opinion that if stickers were an no cost option I'd still not have them. Believe me RG is my favourite magazine so I'm buying it regardless.

I actually put up some stickers from the Sega stickers just for the heck of it:) anyways if it's not required you can just give them to the kids or keep it for the 'mint condition' sake.
Don't think it hurts the mag much if at all. And the mini mags are also nice freebie.
CDs are the best though:)

Cd’s ? Surely in this day and age you don’t need cds ? Just have a search and download a file in minutes. Donoher mags do cds ? Surely they’re a dying breed ?

I think it's a sample size problem - if you base everything on the reactions here, you get a distorted view of what people do and don't respond to. But less than an hour ago, we got this tweet showing someone who clearly likes them, as you can see stickers from our Konami and SNK sheets on his laptop. Looking back through yesterday's tweets, I see one person who thinks they're for ten year olds and therefore rubbish, followed by another who wants an SVG sheet with the digital edition so he can print his own. The person after that wants us to do an annual sticker book, and the next person has thanked us for the stickers because his kid loves them.

So yes, looking at the broader picture changes things - especially since there's information you guys can't see, such as feedback via private channels (emails and letters) and confidential business data (sales figures and other trifling details).
Nick I loved the stickers

Apologies for any bad spelling/grammar hard to write in phone.

In the Retro conventions Play Expo loads of Adult ‘Street Fighter 2’ players in the tournament had there arcades sticks covered in stickers. Including those SNK Stickers. Google Evo fighting tournament or Awesome Games done quick on YouTube. The players joysticks are covered in Stickers.

I stuck mine on my laptop and my ice cold beer arcade machines. Friends did the same on their laptops joysticks. I binned the 2 music cd’s no offence

Lots of digital and Overseas subscribers complains on Facebook they never got the stickers.

Lots of forums like NeoGaf, Bordersdown, Atari Age Facebook forums only buy psychical games, refuse to use emulation will only play on original hardware. Import loads of Japanese games and girl figures. Have a high ratio of completed games. Spend a lot of time gaming.

Whilst RG is very niche forum and the only gaming related thing the Members here buy is RG every month and emulators on phones.

Degrading/non-reusable stuff is, IMO, not a good idea. As is any format that makes collecting harder.
