Looking forward to the new issue. Not a fan of SID music so the cd won’t do anything for me but a nice touch for others.

You could always poke your fingers through the cones of your speakers and damage them beyond repair... it may sound more like a Spectrum then :D

I assume that is a CD attached to the cover? Is this new music or tracks taken from the many kickstarters - or just taken from the C64audio.com?

Pacman on the VCS was something I played a fair amount and although good in its day, it hasn't stood the test of time (unlike Empire Strikes Back)...

Nice freebies.

I thought VCS Pacman was awful. Thought it then and now. IMO it was emphasised how bad it was by how good Ms Pac for VCS was. Rushed and lazy. I remember racing into a dept store after school to play it, and my jaw dropped after a couple of goes, thinking how utterly censored it was. I never ever got it for my own VCS.

...But the mag looks good! :)

Does anyone still get those emails saying "your latest issue is on its way?"

Ever since I re-subscribed from the my favourite magazines site I don't get those anymore (and most of the time the mag doesn't come either). The last email they sent me was for issue 175.

Interesting looking issue, quite like the cover.

Preaching to the choir... For me since I've prolonged my subscription it stopped showing that 179 is my next issue and instead shows that subscription starts from 180... So I'm afraid of not getting this one:( I can claim the replacement only after 28 days of issue release since I'm in India. By that time there will be no replacement copies for that one...

Got to ask, did you ask Tod about the good version of Pacman that was squeezed onto a 4k cart and ask why his was so crap in comparison to the arcade?

I did the other Pac-Man related article, there are 2 in this issue (so it's half my cover but I'll take it :P )
