Another one worth a mention is the JungleTac's Sport Vii, also known as the "Chintendo Vii":

I don't think I'd buy one, but the golf game looks rather more fun than the one in Wii Sports.

I tend to read the forum rather than post and this thread caught my eye because I ended up coming across a clone console in the old part of Quito today and bought it.

It's basically a NES clone in terms of the 100 or so games on it.

It’s the only retro thing I have come across here other than the usual raft of copied PS2 games. Was $20 so about £14. People seem to only want the latest tech probably because old gear carries no status. If it was here once it’s probably since all been chucked out, but I’ll continue the search!

Having said that, there is a big family gaming centre in modern Quito in a mall called Quicentro which has machines like Namco’s Prop Cycle and 18 Wheeler (and other Sega cabinets from late 90s). There is also a guy here making his own cabinets, with MAME and a few other emulators thrown in. His KoFs cabinet seems popular with his Twitter followers. El Hendri is his name.

I used to play it at the Sega Park in the Bargate shopping centre in Southampton during the mid 90s, so it was a nice surprise to find one in South America!

Check this one out, it looks like the lovechild of the Mega Drive and TurboGrafx!

Time for a thread bump!

I just came across this Game Boy Clone and thought it was really neat, it's exactly what you would expect a Game Boy to look like had they done a horizontally orientated version.

Please feel free to check out my Facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/TheFamicloneShelf/

I have a personal collection now of over 200 Famiclones most of which are pictured and described there.
We do a little bit of General Retro Gaming there too but the main focus will always be on Clones of all shapes and sizes.

Thats pretty cool - but what does it actually do? Just literally play Gameboy cartridges? Or does it have games installed etc?

As far as I know it just plays standard cartridges.
