Discuss Time! Issue 157
E3's just around the corner now, and last year's show brought us the "flying bacon" news of Shenmue III. So, we thought we'd pose a question to you lot: What dormant game/series do you dream of seeing revived?
Selected answers will appear in the magazine.

Crimson Skies. I didn't realise earlier as that question should have been put to Ed Fries. Well, as more of an implied threat than a question.
Space Harrier needs a new one, or just a conversion of Planet Harriers would be nice.
And how about a new Sabre-Man arcade-adventure that isn't aimed at five-year-olds (by which I mean the GBA atrocity)? They could even call it Mire Mare if they wanted to...

Gauntlet. Done right. Why do all of these reboots have to mess it up so bad? Start with 1080p and stop there. Do a separate 3D version like the Atari Games ones alongside if you want.
Baldur's Gate PS2 style. All you need is 1080p. Shut up and take my money! (I tried D3 but that control method...)
Marble Madness. Or something similar in glorious colourful isometric. Throw a modern gfx card at it and it should be dazzling.

UN squadron for me. superb game.
Re: Discuss Time! Issue 157
Grim Fandango. How could they abandon such a classic with an amazing premise and cast of characters without a revisit?
Re: Discuss Time! Issue 157
Darkstalkers! Done in a proper 2D style and not with the el cheapo 3D or 2.5D that has invaded most modern fighting games. I won't even think about holding my breath though...
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

F-Zero. It's been 13 years now, cummon Nintendo, I want another edition!
Re: Discuss Time! Issue 157
Manic Miner - would love to see an 2016 take on that game, providing it kept the quirky humor.
Rick Dangerous - Those games were great fun, and ripe for the touch screen market imo.

Horace! Imagine that big blue blob revisiting the park or the ski resort or the err, spider cave? All in glorious hi-def with a AAA budget, movies and merchandise to follow. Somebody get Bethesda or Take-Two on the line!
Re: Discuss Time! Issue 157
Road rash is the one that immediately comes to mind.

I'd like to see a remained Desert Strike, same mission structure, same viewpoint maybe with co-op?

It has to be the Legacy of Kane/Soul Reaver series. It deserves a proper ending after Defiance.
I'd also like to see a new Sykes of Arcadia, where you can reach the higher and lower levels talked about, or vaguely used in the original.

Jumping Flash. These games were so much fun. A sequel would be most welcome.
Ken sent me.
