Non WIndows retro gaming

Has anything been done about retro gaming emulation, remakes etc on Linux, Mac (if you must :P)?
What was more amazing to me was the challenge of making it work on the less capable Commodore 64. It was a real nightmare implementation, but I did it. - Archer Maclean

Most emulators have an installation file for whatever platform you're using.

I know :) Just be interesting from a personal POV as I went fully Linux a couple of years ago - was the point and click in the current issue that brought it to mind!
