Apparently, a Resident Evil Revelations 2 is doing the rounds, so I'd be more interested in that.

No - the GC version is perfect as it is. I'm still working through RE:0, RE2, RE3, RE4, RE:CV and RE:RE anyway - don't need to play one again after completing it on GC and DS already!
Re: Resident Evil HD Remaster
I can't help but think to myself, "I already played this. 12 years ago."
A complete remake, as the Gamecube title itself was, is something I would definitely buy. But with every re-release, compilation and "HD collection" that comes along, it feels less like something to anticipate and more like a patronising cash grab. Which is what it is.

No completed Resi 1, Resi directors cut and the DS version!! Played the remake up until that Monster woman in not the cabin the next encounter(think you have to run from her but the game didn't make this clear).. Add in Zombie's who' come back to life if they're not beheaded forcing you to waste inventory space holding lighter fluid to burn them, little ammo and running red zombie's, forcing you to waste inventory space holding lighter fluid.. More interested in Revelations 2 as I thought 360 Revelations 1 was a return to form.. The multiplayer raid mode was brilliant

I'm undecided at the moment. It's a game I'll definitely keep an eye on though.

Re: Resident Evil HD Remaster
Kept the gamecube primarily for Resident Evil games...so odds are if this is good I will get it.
Very keen on the new Silent Hill game though- If it's as good as it sounds I will upgrade to current gen for it

Re: Resident Evil HD Remaster
I think I have enough copies of the original Resident Evil as it is - Original & Director's cut on the PS1, REmake on GC, and the DS port (which has multi - although I reckon they messed up by using a star to represent the other player(s) rather than their actual character models)
Where logic won't work, I will

I'm in!
I finished the original PS1 version several times, once the day before the Directors cut was out. I promptly went down to the shops the next day and played through it that weekend...
I loved the Cube remake but only got around to finishing it once so this is a perfect excuse to play it again
