This does seem to be causing a vast difference in opinion!

I thought the first was very good, the second slightly better, and the third a bit disappointing.

Could hardly get worse. Couldn't face it again after the first episode.

Totally wicked show. All 3 episode have had me rolling around.

Have just reviewed episode 1 again and the ZX81 does appear to be a ZX81 (despite me thinking it wasn't the first time I saw it).

It has some sort of expansion on the back (probably a 16Kb ram pack) and has a large white sticker on the top of it making it a bit difficult to recognise but definitely a zx81.

Looks like the props dept were raking eBay for stuff...

Picture of the retro computer in question....

Apologies that its not clearer but it does appear to be a zx81 with ram pack and something stuck on top of it.

And for those of us that got more excited about the PET, I think it's a PET 2001 with a 3rd party keyboard fitted on top of the nasty flat keyboard that this particular model had.

ahhh must have been the sticker and rampack that confused me... seeing it in a still frame like that it does indeed seem to be a ZX81... oh how sad we are lol

OMG. This series is Retro Gamer Geek Heaven....

Firstly theres a BBC Micro (Model A or B) behind Roys desk.

Roys Tee Shirt has the infamous Pac Man screen 255 with half the screen garbled...

and behind Moss's desk appears to be an early 80's "Frogger" handheld/Tabletop game.

kuul and v.sad!!!!!!!!!!!!

And theres more....

An Atari VCS Poster and an Atari 400 and 800 Promotional poster as you come in the door.

It looks like a "We love Cookie" poster behind Roys desk.

Its these touches that make this series tip top....

I (sad geek that I am) paused the Sky+ box to look at that poster. I thought it said "We love coders," but you could well be right. I've deleted it now so I can't check. Anyone else got any suggestions?

I can't decide whether Roy's t-shirt is the result of a very clued up research team, or a Google search for "geek t-shirts". :)

Gotta say though, I am particularly enjoying this. I think it's the funniest British comedy I've seen since The Office.

Yeah, I'm not totally sure about the "We love cookie" poster.........

It was a fleeting glance!

I'm not totally sure about the frogger hand held either, I saw a large yellow hand held, at first I thought Puckmonster but that didn't have a sun shield. The only one that came to mind was Frogger but correct me if i'm wrong.

What ever happens it's still a top retrogamer geek fest!!

and anyone notice this week in the middle of a pile of junk on one of the filing cabinets is a Pal NES console (although why they would have an NES console in IT is a bit questionable!?)

There was also what seemed like a third party SNES pad with the autofire and turbo switches, the ultimate posters were back and the PET has its logo on the front.

I'm going to start watching the entire series of this from next week so I hope its not a waste of time (even for the fleeting glimpses of Chris Morris!).

I downloaded the episodes from CH4, they were very good in letting you
get the WMV version a whole week before it was shown on TV :D

http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/t ... I/itcrowd/

you can still get highlights, and I think filecloud may had older eps available
