You know there's two fire buttons, right? One for normal slow fire and then one for the rapid fire that eventually runs out?TwoHeadedBoy wrote:First go score, 1300
Didn't realise there was limited ammo!
Aside from Funspot we actually didn't spend much tim in arcades. No more than an hour in any of the others we visited, and plenty of days where we didn't go in any at all...pforson wrote:Watched the vids. Really fun and looks like you had a great time on Holiday. Did you guys do anything other than play games? (and get engaged)
I actually hadn't played Tapper at all since that weekend at The Lass, but I knew they had a cab in all the arcades I planned to visit so thought it would be interesting to compare scores between diferent environments. It's way harder using the 'pourer' control than a button!pforson wrote:I remember in Manchester at the Lass, you playing Tapper all the time on the Bartop. Is it your fave classic arcade game now then?
No, they have little shelves between each cab to put beers on. Very nicely done.pforson wrote:How does it work with drinks? Are people allowed to place beers on top of the cabs?
Nope, we only saw the 2-player upright version in Funspot. Never seen the cocktail version out in the wild!pforson wrote: I spotted Warlords in one of the vids, but did any of the places have a sitdown cocktail version?
Here's another video and the first of 6 that look at some of the really interesting and/or unusual cabs at Funspot. The first vid features Computer Space, STUN Runner and Krull...
