Mine arrived today, ultra fast international delivery, as usual :) Was worried when I saw it there, after a day of torrential rain, but sealed inside with plastic...excellent!
Looking forward to a good flick through later.

It's advertised again in load 105. Where do I sign up for a reprint?

Don't forget to look out for Andrew Fisher's C64 book and Andrew Rolling's Speccy book, both well worth getting.

You can download a PDF of Andrew Rollings' Spectrum book from World of Spectrum:

(Cant post the URL as it keeps coming up with an error !)

As someone who already has the original how many new pages does this one have ? I'll get it if theres a chunk more, could you give us an indication ?

The Spectrum/C64 book gets a reprint, while the Amstrad doesn't even make an appearance. Why does Darran hurt the machine he loves?

It's called running a business !

Do you think there should be a bookazine for the Amstrad ? Even the c64/speccy books were combined into one. Can't seen an amstrad one doing wel. Just like the books from Cheis Wilkins and the compendium books so far haven't feature Amstrad

They could do a 'less popular 8 bit computer compendium'...Amstrad, Atari A8, Jupiter Ace, Oric 1 and other obscure systems! :D

When Andrew Rollings was knocking out Hiive books, we did get Jerry Ellis' 8 Bit Book.

Funny you say that i was going to say the same. As Ant said that 8 bit book was really good, a bookazine featuring the 'other' 8 bit systems would be good and should get a fair few sales as it'll cater for lots of different machines.

Shame the future books from Andrew didnt come out (He had a gameboy one planned and a few others). Love the Speccy book he did and grateful he gave the PDF to people as well

I just made my own Amstrad Book but an "Others 8-bit" bookazine would be a great mix of machines and their games.
