Is it though?

I know Yakumo (guy going for full JP Saturn collection) has a few floor plan creators - they're supposed to be rarer/worth more.

Well, I'm not very knowledgeable in the fine art of Jap Saturn collecting but so I've read. What would it be then?

I remember reading some of the VF portrait discs are sought after.

I paid £100 for my copy about 7ish years ago, has the outer sleave and everything.

What a waste of money though, its not that great a game at all.

Daytona USA Netlink Edition has become very hard to get hold of, and when it does appear you're now talking $800-$1200

(was only available via mail order direct from Sega of America)

Then there's:

Eyeful Home - around 50 copies produced - $1000+
Derisoba Deluxe - around 200 copies produced - $1000+
Heim Waltz - around 50 copies produced - $700-$800

Also VERY rare and hard to get hold of but not as pricey are the Samsung branded Korean Saturn releases.

Any of those extremely rate games any good? Or are they just fetish collector's fodder? Taroumaru looks quite good based on all the videos (including a complete walkthrough game) I've seen around.

Taroumaru looks a bit eh in the vids imo.

And no, I don't think any of those games are worth playing.

And that is the difference between collectors who play games and gamers who collect.

Perhaps, but many buy games and not play - which is equally as awful.

was writing a collectors guide for the saturn not so long back, but sourcing images for some of the rarer games is almost impossible
