Re: What grinds your gears ?
Is it coincidence that less than a week ago you told them you couldn't do a shift, then this week they give you nothing?

Its not that they are giving nothing, its that they have nothing workwise for anyone this week.
had phone call this morning
"Why weren't you in work last night?"
"I was due in? I had nothing on my shift schedule?"
"Oh we have had problems with that,"
Screenshotted it with time and date and emailed it
Feck, hope the museum gets back in touch real soon

Buying milk from my local corner shop and the damn stuff going off already even though I only opened it Friday and it's dated until 6th March. So I can't have a cup of tea before bed now

I'd take it back and complain, it's probably been left out back too long on delivery

Somebody who has caused me great pain they took my name and my identity. Using me as a Judas goat to take that the rap for things you posted it’s unforgivable!
You gave me the wrong signals and misled me and disrespected me and I have to say was rather stung by it all!

Corona virus and US HQs setting standards for rest of world - now my local forum meeting gets cancelled with hotel bookings and travels already planned and paid.
Re: What grinds your gears ?
I did actually go back in with it and moan for a replacement earlier, still couldn't have a cuppa last night though

I've always got the Coffee machine for backup, alright its the dried stuff but it tastes nice enough and foams well for when I want a Cappucino.
Todays grind is yet again my flipping body and meds, I swear it knows I want to get on with something and then makes the world spin and me need to pee several times and hour which is then made worse by my left hip not wanting to play ball as my right leg still wont work when I stand.
I'll get something done eventually I swear.

We keep a carton of UHT in the cupboard for milk emergencies. Handy when you come back from hols and haven't had time to stock up yet. Modern UHT isn't anything like the funky tasting stuff we had when I was a kid.

I acctually miss the taste of that stuff, my childhood best mate's Nan used to give it to us when we visited her.Antiriad2097 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 4:55 pmWe keep a carton of UHT in the cupboard for milk emergencies.
