Was a difficult choice between Streets of Rage and Metal Slug... but voted for SoR2.

my fave game from the list is sor 2 but wasn't that featured a few issues back? So went for Banshee on the Amiga purely because I am always interested in reading about amiga games despite the fact ive never played any!

Banshee for me.

One of the best looking games on the 1200, and played beautifully too, the sort of game the Amiga was made for.

I've gone with Beach Head. I have such fond memories of the C16 version.

No - honest! But then I also quite enjoyed Saboteur on the C16 too, so I'm probably not the best judge.

Christ, I guess you're some kind of gaming masochist then.

Tell me, do you wear a gimp-mask and ball-gag while playing?

Never played C16 version , but I've plumped for Beach-Head. Will give that version a go , as I like the Speccy and C64 versions , be interesting to see how they differ

I went for Beach head on the 64.

The game was not really that hard to play but was so addictive that you can quite easily jump back in again without it being boring.

Was also one of the first C64 games that i played that used Novaload so no more cooking the dinner waiting for it too load.

Axelay for me. Though SoR2 or Metal Slug 3 were another prominent option.

PS/ Didn't realise there was GODS :( stupid me for reading too quickly. So my vote to Gods...

I went for Metal Slug 3. One of the best games ever made, and it'll be nice to have some counter-arguments to Stuart's harsh review of the game in the magazine.
