Welcome to the forum bartread.

I was similar to you in falling out of gaming but just slightly later in around 2000/2001. It was around 6/7 years later when I picked up a Wii that I got back in to it and have since made up for lost time. :D

Hi everyone, my name is Lee and I'm obviously a gamer!

I have a huge passion for retro gaming, and have a massive collection of retro consoles, magazines and of course games. I've been both playing and collecting retro stuff since the eighties, which also makes me old too I guess! Last year I decided to try my hand at video game vlogging. It's a very long and sometimes tiring hobby, but I have to say I love it! I have a channel on YouTube, where I play all sorts of games from retro right up to modern consoles. I don't claim to be an expert, I just like to have fun, and maybe educate people on some of the games I actually know how to play :D It's very rewarding, and helps me cope so much with the other problems I face in my life, which I'm not going to open up to just yet on my introduction.

Anyway, thanks for listening. Hope to chat to some of you soon!

Hi there.

New user here, I've been into gaming since the early 90s, and since played on the Master System II, Mega Drive II, SNES, N64, Gamecube, the original PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and currently the PS4.

I'm also into pixel art.

Hi everyone, hope you're all well :)

Im a laid-back retro gamer in my late 30's.

I grew up with an Atari ST and a Sega Mega Drive, moving on to PS1 and more when I was in my teens.

I still have my ST and Mega Drive, but choose to emulate everything for the convenience. I like to use RetroArch for everything, except for Wii and Gamecube, which I use the standalone Dolphin emulator.

Im here because I just want some chilled out chats with people on the same level as me. Im not one for bashing what people like to play or what they have, I dont see the point.

I look forward to getting to know you guys :D

Been a long time since I posted here. Big retro fan owned most systems before my divorce. Good to be back.

Hi there! Great to be here, I'm rcproam (named after the greatest racer of all time of course :P ).

I've been gaming for about 30 years now. Was always a Nintendo guy but moved over to PC gaming in later years. Kinda coming full circle now and getting back into the console gaming I loved as a kid.

Hope I can make a positive contribution to the board.

Welcome to the forum rcproam.

I absolutely love the game as well, put in hours on it when I was younger.

Hi everyone, I'm Alan from South East of England, I own a NES, SNES, N64, Master System, Mega Drive, Mega CD, 32 X, Saturn and a Dreamcast. The only console I own that is considered "modern" would be my PlayStation 2. My username was going to be "8Bit", but someone else already has claimed that username so I went with 32Bit, it makes sense as my first game console was a 32 bit anyway, lol
