130 hours later, I'm finally done with Yakuza 0.

Finished up with about 96% completion but that was because I once again didn't bother with the gambling mini-games. Completed everything else that there was to do though. I think this is easily one of the best games in the series. It has a lot to do but felt a lot more simplified and less overwhelming compared to the sprawling experience that was Yakuza 5. Story and characters really were fantastic and there were some epic battles against the Dojima family bosses. It's just a shame that I was massively over-powered and carrying most of the strongest weapons by the end of the game because I made extremely short work of the endgame, especially Kiryu's battle against Shibusawa.

I think I will take a bit of a break and play some other things before jumping into Kiwami.

Super Robot Wars T- An interesting experience to say the least, but a little too long for my tastes. If you like tactical strategy games like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics and have some love for some of the animes represented, you might get a kick outta the series.

Link's Awakening remake for the Switch. Really good old school Zelda with a lovely fresh coat of paint. The dungeon maker stuff is a decent extra addition too.

God of war ps4. This game took me an age to get into but by the end I loved it. Don't know if I will bother with the side stuff, may leave that until a second play through.

Finished the first Bayonetta. Bloody great game aside from QTE's, some of which give you hardly any time to react and resulted in needless insta-death. Also managed to miss a lot of the vinyl pieces and Alfheim challenge portals so those must have been better hidden than I expected...

Other than that, it really was fantastic entertainment. Absolutely mental the whole way through, especially when you are fighting atop pieces of rubble flying through the air at silly speed.

Going to play the sequel next before anything else.

A couple of the QTEs come out of literally nowhere, I hated them. The secret missions/verses are also sometimes really silly, having to progress to a certain point in the level, the turn around and go back!
Amazing game though, its one I can replay endlessly.

Viva Pinata

All Achievements
All Pinata Variations and Master Romanced
Full Growth Bonus on all Plants
Max level 108

Needless to say, I loved this game and believe it belongs alongside Rare's other beloved classics.

Now.....when to do the same for Trouble in Paradise.....

Bayonetta 2 (Wii-U) - not quite as good as the first one but the original was so good that that's still high praise. Notably easier this time with much more lenient Witch Time and very little need to bother with items (I barely used any at all). In fact, I didn't die a single time! The QTE's of death were at least removed so that probably helped!

Still, I really enjoyed it. Going to try and complete the Witch Trials and mess about using Jeanne. Not sure if I will be able to save up enough cash to buy the platinum ticket and face Rodin however.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed- Not a bad little Star Wars game, though just a bit more polish in some areas and I think it would square up with the greats of its era.

Now to try its sequel and yes, I'm aware its a bit of a let down compared to the first.
