Advice requured.

Post by SCALEBACK » Wed Dec 17, 2014 10:37 am

Before I ask for advice, I'm going to give you some background.
I've recently had to endure the torture of earache which meant I couldn't use in-ear headphones due to the earwax on them after the use of ear drops and the one quid ones I've been using on a temporary measure aren't to bad but the last thing you want when you've got earache is in ear headphones. I decided to get a new pair and have weighed up the pros and cons of the different styles and decided to use the over ear style ones. I prefer cheap, easy to use
hard/software (my creativity equipment and software're proof of this) and I have a USB DJ2go mixing deck and M-audio Keysattion 32 minii, both complete with the free easy to use software (these're relevevant). I'm looking at a decent pair for between 10-15 quid (but twenty's my absolute limit as I don't want anything fancy. Just for Youtube and music making.

Suggestions/recommendations pkease...

I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit. It's going to go 100% failure in 72 hours

Best story eva bro. Deep stuff.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

May I suggest an audio forum instead of this one for your post?

In fact, maybe all your posts?

Please?

It was a serious post about headphone recommendations from other posters and I gave some background as to why I wanted it.
Its alright, I don't like to seek good Kronenbourg 1664 go to waste either.

You will never get a good pair of on ear head phones for under £20. But if your budget really won't stretch to say £50 (richersounds and other places) for so AKG Y50's which are normally £80 then the best of a bad bunch I have heard are some Motörhead branded headphones for £20 at HMV.

Who said anything about a fancy pair?
I just want a decent pair to connect to my lappy so I can create music without annoying everybody else with the racket and to watch youtube.

I just like cheap easy to use, nothing fancy hard/software and I'm practically on glorified (paid) work experience at 90 quid a week.
Whats wrong with an amateur hobbyist using cheap hardware?

Nothing's wrong with that and they are cheap what I have suggested. Not like I suggested some beats at over £300.

Just trying to give advice. If you are making music would it not be better to be able to hear properly what sounds your making by getting a slightly better pair. Then your recordings won't sound as poor.

Advice over I will say no more on the matter as you clearly did not like the advice given.

hmm...

it seems tricky this internet thing, but I did a `search` on the `internet` and found `these`

might be worth actually trying it out...it only took me a few hours to get these 2 results...
