I interviewed Matt for my book, and took the chance to talk to him about the Kickstarter too.
Here's what Matt had to say about the project.

What a fantastic kickstarter. Backed £35 level - and the good news is that within 24 hours the Kickstarter is FULLY BACKED!
The Last Ninja 2 soundtrack is amazing in its original form - so an updated version by the man himself is going to be awesome!
Excited.... HELL YES.

And if the total reaches £40,000, Matt will compose new SID tunes. Cool!

If you loved the C64 and haven't backed Matt Gray's Kickstarter yet, here's another taste of why you should. This, as far as I know, won't be on it... it'll be on the CD that will accompany the Hewson Consultants book. But it gives you a good idea of the quality you can expect.

Backed it... hope it gets to 40k

It's already past that.Elaine wrote:Backed it... hope it gets to 40k
I'm hoping it gets to 60,000. I'll back it if it does. I'd REALLY be pleased if it gets to the 75,000 goal.

Backed on the first day
After Alister Brimble's, Chris Huelsbeck's and Tim Wright's releases, I'm totally looking forward to this!

Aaargh! 10 days to go - and I want it to hit £60000 to get the 10 extra tracks and CD box set. Needs another £13000 though.... lets hope there is a mad rush after end of month paydays!

Re: Matt Gray Reformation Kickstarter (last ninja)
I've pledged for quite a few projects lately;
Signed up to Matt's one (went for the Ltd edition disk drive one)
backed the Rocket Ranger remake
The Amiga and c64 visual book
The Lone Wolf board game (just to get the Gary Chalk art work book)
And will sign up for the Ron Gilbert retro pixel art graphic adventure one
Ssshh! I've not told the Missus
