Most Ultimate artwork was great. This and Atic Atac were the best.

I forgot Underwurlde... awful game, brilliant cover. At least as good as my previous vote for Ant Attack.

I played a lot on Speccy, one of the routes to finish was quite short and simple.
Good game, shame about the ropey cover. That demon thing looks like a kid's drawing, its so rough. One of their weakest covers imo.

Almost everything by Bob Wakelin purely down to artistic skills.
The Underworld cover is terrible. Instantly recognisable, iconic maybe but terrible.
A lot of the early Atari VCS games have great artwork. Not always 100% representative of the game though!

This is why this forum and retro gaming is great. You having the complete opposite opinion is really interesting.
I hated Underwurlde, all that bouncing about being knocked off ledges. To me it was the epitome of frustration . Always loved the cover though, can't explain why, just liked it.

A VCS game with a cover that made it look a far more exciting game than it was.
One of the great covers of all time. Again, the gameplay doesn't quite match up to the visuals
One of my favourite Speccy covers. Lots going on there, most of it not illustrative of the actual gameplay. Very imaginitive though.

This one has got everything: the girl, the Ferrari, the road, the expectation of a fantastic drive listening to wonderful music.

It just rocks, I couldn't do without the Supremacy poster in my room

Wow.

Bob Wakelin, what an artist.

All the more impressive considering it's been drawn by Eric Chahi himself.

I have always loved this cover.
I loved the game, and this cover helped set the scene - so what if you were actually a square trying to impale badly animated ducks with an arrow - thanks to the box art I could image I was actually a warrior charging at the dragon with my magic spear.
A great cover like so many of the Atari 2600 classics.
