Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
nice, but not as good as cheese and onion or cheese and tomato
Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
Why not mix em all together?

ATARI....There can be only one !!!!!!!
Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
Bit plain for my liking. Decent enough at a pinch, though.
Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
Nah, I'm not into these. I was at a training day lately and almost every buffet sandwich was Cheese and Cucumber. Ragin'.

Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
nah, cheese and beetroot every time!

Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
Will have to try that, I normally shy away from this type of thing as the bread usually ends up too soggy. Pickled onions? Love them, but a sarnie wrecker they are. Same goes for cucumber.
Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
I've found a solution to the likes of cucumber and tomato wrecking sandwiches. Put a slice of ham over the top.

Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
Aren't they an attempt to "chav-up" the cucumber sandwich(which has the crusts cut off and is on white bread with British butter)? The sort of thing that you can imagine Lady Mary from Downton Abbey or David(call me Dave) Cameron eating?
I suppose the cheese is nice(if it's cheddar that we are talking about?). I think that cheese and Branston Pickle sandwiches are superior though.

Re: Cheese and cucumber sandwiches
A fine choice, but it must be small chunk pickle on a hank marnie.

I like cheese ones, without the cheese

Cheese & Cucumber sandwiches were one of my favourites at school - mum used to put vinaigrette and some black pepper on top as well. Deelish!
