Best way to protect Dreamcast games

Post by Mantas » Thu Apr 24, 2014 5:34 pm

Hi all

I will be moving house soon and I would like some advice on the best way to protect my DC games when the movers come.
I have around 80 games (most of them sealed) and some are worth quite a bit.
I have thought of bubble wrapping each individual one but that will take an absolute age and use tons of bubble wrap.
Has anyone had to do something similar and what would you suggest?

Thank you

Open them up and put them in cheap cases.

DC cases are horrid anyway

If you care about them.

Move them yourself.

Or get the movers to guarantee them (aint gonna happen!)

When I moved I put them fairly tight in a small box so they were not loose but not too many that the box was to heavy to crack the cases. I also took them in my car not out them in the removal van as it's asking for trouble. The boxes I used were from huggies economy packs of nappies (not to big and pretty strong with carry handles). Think I got about thirty games a box if I remember right.

Take a picture of them then sell them. Then you have extra cash and you can still look at them when you want. I assume that's what you do with them ;)

Other than that, I'd move them yourself.
