Picked up a big-ass compilation of Lovecraft, never read any of that stuff before and wanted to see what I'd been missing out on.

loved the Dark when I was at school I always got it out from the school library. Still think it could make a fun low budget filmHitman_HalStep wrote:a couple by james herbert-

Witch Wraith by Terry Brooks. Been waiting ages for my library to get this & it suddenly appeared on the shelves on Monday. 100 pages read already!

Well its book shaped and its the Walking Dead compendium 1 & 2. Not normally a graphic novel reader but feel like ive missed a beat in my life. Think I might look into other graphic novelisations of things ive enjoyed. Odd Thomas and Stephen Kings Dark Tower series are ones I think ive heard of.

Just finished Running My Life, Sebastian Coe's autobiography. It was very interesting - from his schooldays to the change from amateur to professionalism in athletics, and of course right up to the 2012 Olympics he did so much to carry off so well.

Words of Radiance by Bryan Sanderson, the second book in the Stormlight Archive series and it's been a pretty good read so far (only started reading it this morning). I'm a big fan of the first book in the series, Way of Kings, as it has some of the best written action in the fantasy genre.

The Silent Hour, by Michael Koryta, one of the best writers about at the moment.

Started Game of Thrones last night; totally my kind of thing

Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
