Visionairies, is a great shout.
For me it would be M.A.S.K or Jayce and the wheeled warriors, or an epic RPG in the style of Mass effect travelling around space trying to get home for Ulysses 31.
As for a film, a game based soley on the original Animated Transformers movie. ( I know there have been transformers games but not one following the movies storyline )

There were at least three M.A.S.K. games too. I'd say Centurions, but I think there was a game based on that too.

The Visionaries toyline never did as well as was hoped and so the existing spin-off's were soon canned.Animated TV show lasted 13 eps, comic a mere 6 eps, so guess it was never seen as worthy material for game conversion.
Centurions:Power Extreme on C64 was work of Tony Crowther i seem to recal.

Toys? I'd like an actual working and decent Zoids game please ..... based on the 80s UK toys and not the anime trash that came later

Hmmmmm, movie Id say Escape From New York. Imagine that as a side scrolling shooter, or even an overhead shooter ala Ikari Warriors. Tv license.......thats a tough one. Ill go for Mysterious Cities of Gold as a Monkey Island-style point and clicker, with the Lucasarts graphics and interface too.
JSW's Guff Emporium! <- My bit of t'internet.

Battle of the Planets never got the game it deserved. It would make for a great game on 16-bit consoles, mixing scrolling shoot-em-up sections and multi-directional scrolling infiltration using the various vehicles, with pseudo-3D scrolling or platform beat-em-up sections with the characters on foot.
Although to be honest, the individual character vehicles rarely served any purpose other than to ferry the characters to the main ship for a mission.
Knight Tyme was probably a good model for Ulysses 31 - being able to command a starship, transport down to various planets and learn the locations, passcodes and obtain objects for approacing other planets. But throw in a bit more arcadey platforming action, again from the 16 bit consoles.
