What cheap clone systems do you own?

Post by GarryG » Thu Jan 09, 2014 9:17 am

I’ve got a couple of Famiclone (NES on a chip) systems, and was just wondering if anybody else collects these, or other such clone systems, ether seriously or just through curiosity.

I have quite a few clone systems. here are a few. A generation Nex based on an original nes, retro duos, and an arcade stick that hooks up straight to the TV and has 20+ megadrive games built in but also allows you to play roms from SD card.

Had two Famiclones but they both broke. Also had some Game & Watch copycat devices.

Several, yep...

-Atari Flashback (good! Looks like a 2600 and has loads of games built-in)
-ATGames Portable Mega Drive (good, handheld with 20 built-in Mega Drive games but it resets itself every so often)
-Coleco PlayPal (good, little handheld thing with 20 built-in SMS/Game Gear games)
-"Educational Portable Game System" (a GBA SP with 60 built-in GBA games)
-OneStation (looks like a GBA Micro, takes cartridges filled with NES games, and can be upgraded to play Mega Drive games too)
-RedAnt Game Axe Color (portable Famiclone)
-RetroGen (terrible, terrible, terrible portable Mega Drive - claims to be multi-region but isn't, has a blurry screen and unresponsive buttons)
-Systema TV Boy (plugs into the telly and has 126 Atari 2600 games built-in, but given different names)
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

I've got one or two...ahem :D

I collect them. All shapes and sizes.
Love them.
Have over 200 of them now. I've been thinking of starting a Blog or a Facebook page to try and list and describe them all but just haven't found the time yet to do it.
