It was a ground breaking arcade machine.
It looks amazing.
It sounds amazing.
It made $32m in it's first 8 months.
It cost 50p a go (which equates to 50p per 30secs)
And it was a bloody nightmare to play.

This game was hyped and worshipped and when I played it I was seriously underwhelmed. The fogging was bad, the colours were garrish, it was based on Peirce that tw@t from Mrs Doubtfire Brosnon and for me extremly boring as far as 1st person shooters go.
My 2nd choice would be pacman on the Atari 2600, probably the 2nd worse game on that console having just been overtaken by ET. It's so bad that the clone that you can play at the starting bar in Prey for the Xbox 360 is much better!
Damn - there goes my choice.stvd wrote:Can I vote for Dragon's Lair (Arcade)

The idea for the thread was to produce a list of turkeys, not games that were a bit of a disappointment. Even if someone didn't like Goldeneye that much, it'd be bloody hard to make a case for it being utterly utterly rubbish. The Penultimate Ninja wrote:As for Goldeneye... I guess it depends on whether Demonblaze made a case for it actually being a really bad game, or just one he didn't like as much as everyone else. What do you think Craig?
