*** PLEASE NOTE, I DIDN'T MAKE THIS THREAD, BUT EARLIER POSTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED SO NOW IT SEEMS LIKE I DID!

Gorf! Horrible mishmash of clones of other popular titles at the time and really stupid name. I know it's a popular one in retro circles so expect a poo storm, but I just don't get all the fuss about this one!

Being a first poster thread I'll risk it: Sonic the Hedgehog. I know I know its a classic and I appreciate that but not for me, rubbish. I never ever got on with it. The Dreamcast one , Adventure? was okay ish but no not for me.

Hexic HD on the 360 - I actually fell asleep playing this one, and on waking up a couple of hours later, found that this hadn't affected things in any way whatsoever.

Yet another re-hash on this old topic, and as usual it's games that people found overrated rather than outright bad that are getting mentioned.
I suggest everyone shuts up and plays the entirety of the Cassette 50 (Commodore 64 or Spectrum version is down to individual preference) before commenting further, just so that they can be completely clear on what a bad game actually is.

Gorf was one of those games that let you 'play' without putting any money in, so is an instant WIN.

Said this before but Dinky Kong (Oric 1) is another awful game. I loved Donkey Kong as a kid and remember Dinky Kong arriving one morning before I left for school. I was super excited all day

Got home and see the excitement drain from my face

Watch Krazy Kong on the Speccy (I would say play it , but that's dificult to do). Then tell me there is a worse game out there.

Man where to start as there is so many. I mean not taking into account the usual suspects that are always talked about like ET and pacman. Custers revenge has to be up there even though I have never played it. Virtual hydlide is shocking. Mortal Kombat special forces is a special kind of poor. When I used to work in a games shop years ago and bubsy 3D came out. My god did I roll about on the floor at such a poo game

So instead of delete my sig or notify me about that (if that was a problem), mods completely delete my OP but keep my topic active?
How thoughtful thing to do...
Here is the legit WGE contender (from my deleted OP) - Crazy Bus
And here is hugely improved Crazy Bus 2:lol:
(Mod URL's deleted as its a brand new account)

Sorry, but the page you linked to in your sig had all the hallmarks of a proper spammer who'd never return. Its pretty common for us to get 'nasty' spammers posting what look like valid topics so they can get these links on the board. My apologies are due in this case since you've evidently made an effort to return and contribute here. You might want to edit your sig to get rid of that link though, since we spambusters have no control of them globally, only the 'proper' mods.
