Basically I've got a cart of Link's Awakening DX and for some reason it just won't work.
It gets past the Nintendo logo screen then it's just a completely white background no sounds no nothing. I read it might be a corrupted save so removed the battery and got a new one but that hasn't helped either. Has something happened like the ROM has somehow been wiped?

Have you tried cleaning the contacts? If not, get some IPA: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksi ... &_from=R40
Suppose you were an idiot; suppose also that you were an XBox One owner. But I repeat myself.

Re: Help fixing a gameboy game
Does anyone else have any ideas what could be wrong? I should probably point out it doesn't work on any game boy I've tried that's multiple SP's, a color, a pocket, an original and the gameboy player.
I did read that it could be too many gameshark codes were used but I assumed when the battery was removed everything would kind of reset.
White screen might be a bit wrong to say too I should probably say after the logo it is a blank screen devoid of all sound
