weather effects?

Been thinking about Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 on the Amiga, and not only was it a brilliant game but from what I remember it featured pretty much all the weather effects (just checked on youtube and it did):

So what are the games you have played with great weather effects, doesn't have to be a racing game either.

Jaguar XJ220, always on the Amiga, had even better weather effects... rain that varied in intensity, snow, wind, fog, sandstorms... what a game.

Here's some I like (love a good bit of in-game weather) -

Creatures 2 on C64 - the falling snow looked ace
Zombi U does a really excellent and atmospheric job of a rainy night in London town
The already mentioned KOF99 stage that goes from sunny to chucking it down
I seem to remember some nice weather effects in Metroid Prime?
Fog in Turok (lol)

Not retro...couldn't much newer but gta5 has some amazing lightning effects.

I also liked the weather effects in general in this year's Tomb Raider reboot, some of the best I've ever seen.

I always liked the way the rain hit your windscreen in Quantum Redshift and leaving footprints in the snow in VF3.

Yeah that was good, though I remember Namco using it in moto gp just before so they prob nicked the effect!

I thought the lightning clouds in KikStart rather impressive and sinister (in 1986...).

The weather in Red Dead Redemption are the best.

Also really enjoy the weather in PGR4, though its not dynamic.

Im not sure what game i was playing, but i recall a rain storm happening, leaving puddles. Then as the sun came out you could see the puddles drying up around your feet!

Was it Crysis 2?
