I still have to work, so I'd like to know what your favourite RPG is. Western or Japanese it doesn't really matter

Suikoden... the only RPG I've ever played through multiple times.

Guardian Heroes. It's a side-scrolling beat 'em up hack & slash action RPG, but an RPG all the same.

RPG's, for the most part, have never done anything for me. That is, except for one game : Lands of Lore. For some reason I got addicted to it, and couldn't stop playing it. In fact I think I will track a copy down and try to coax my PC to somehow get it to run, just to see how it plays today.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. The pencil, paper and dice variety. Never gotten into RPG's of the silicon kind.

Definitely not an RPG but the closest I would get to playing one.

Alternate Reality : The Dungeon on the A8. I must have put weeks into playing that game, never came close to finishing.

My favourite is Shining Force. It's the RPG that got me into the RPGs so it has a special place in my gaming history. It's still great to play even by today's standard, has a great story and involving characters and solid gameplay. I recently enjoyed playing through this again through it's iOS release and it really hasn't lost any of it's charm.

I'm not an RPG fan, but I've played quite a few, the best one for me is Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Blue Dragon on the 360, simply because I had not enjoyed an RPG so much since the Snes days. I know its not considered a great game but it was the right game at the right time.

Would the original Pokemon count as an RPG at all? if so It's gotta be Pokemon for me, so many memories of draining gameboy batteries into that game and selling it is a massive regret of mine, i'll never get that save file back
. why? well erm, cos it would be awfully friendly of you to take a look i guess, you don't have to though, nobody will make you *sob sob*
