The Brit fans are supporting a Scottish hun and a German hun then?
crazy times. Ok, so Murray is a gimme for the desperados but that German chick? Is it because she beat the person who beat Robson then? I'm confoosed.

I'd like to think it's because she's been playing some exciting attacking tennis all week and it's been working for her, but mainly I'd suspect that it's because she's the one person who provided a shock upset who didn't go out in the next round.koopa42 wrote:The Brit fans are supporting a Scottish hun and a German hun then?crazy times. Djoko finally lost a set. He might be human after all.

I don't even like tennis but this match has me rather hooked in LOL
Re: Wombledon: A thread
After moaning at people supporting a Scot and a German ...... I'm wanting the Argy to win
he's injured, running about strapped up, and still fighting AND someone in the crowd shouted 'go on Del Boy' LOL what's not to like

He is through to the final against Djokovic. I'm sure most of Britain will be cheering him on, though there will of course be some notable exceptions. I can see DreamcastRIP already getting his Serbian flag out to hang from his bedroom window!

Todays the day then. As each minute passes I see an approaching destiny for Andy Murray to capture a dynasty of sporting greatness in a vortex of flaming triumph

"Come on Andy!" the crowd cheered and then Cliff Richard appears and sings for them. I wonder if Murray wins will he sing "Congratulations". Also, will Alex Salmond use him as a figurehead for Scottish independence? Anyway, get your strawberries and cream ready.
