I've finally found this thread!

I went to Retro Revival on Saturday and it was brilliant! I didn't think it would live up to my expectations, but it did... I had an amazing time and met some great people. I've shared my pictures from the event below... and there's one special picture in there... I finally lived up to a child hood dream and played with a VR headset.

Amazing!

Hopefully the event will be returning next year and hopefully I can get a goodie bag this time!

Good work and well done to everyone that helped organise it.

This was my first retro gaming event, and hopefully not my last. I really enjoyed it, it blew away all of my expectations. There were games and hardware there that I never knew existed. Seeing stuff like the Odyssey (even though it wasn't plugged in) in the flesh was almost enough to give me goosebumps. 2 pairs of Master System 3D glasses out to play too. Fantastic weekend all round.
And this bird you'll never change...

Myself and Mini Boggy really enjoyed ourselves at the show, it was great to see everyone again, and the variety of systems and arcade cabs was well judged and extremely enjoyable to play.

Venue was good I thought apart from the bar issues.

It really evoked memories of Fusion, Reunited and Byte Back in the atmosphere created.

Thanks to Marko and Mikeo Poloman for the lift to Maccy D's.. and a beer or three.. ;)

Great to catch up with Keith, Phil and the Tech Shack Guys..

Big thanks to jdanddiet for driving us there and back.. cheers Graeme..

And remind me to never cajole Big Filecore Steve to play Warlords when, he says he has to get home.. and then he thumps the bejaysus out of us all at it..

Well done chaps, jolly well done to all involved.. looked forward to the next one.

Cheers

B.
