WrestleMehna week

One match of interest, one live performance of a rubbish song

NXT last week.
WWE we need to have a little talk about what people like me watch NXT for, its not to see the likes of Clay and Orton do the same old tired censored, if it wasn't for the Nattalia and Katlin match it would've been terrible

They need to have a talk about what people watch Raw for as well, last night's was bloody awful apart for the ending. And considering that was the 'go home' show for a Wrestlemania, it really didn't leave me that hyped at all.

As with every year, my mate will be coming over on Sunday for a live Wrestlemania/beer drinking session...but I don't think the actual PPV's going to be much good. :( First year I can remember where I'm honestly not looking forward to it that much.

^Im rockin for the mid card.

Jericho vs Fandango shall be good.
Hell No vs Ziggler and Langston might be good

Watched the first few minutes of RAW
Crowd booing Cena, chanting "Boring" during his usual speech, then I saw the first match up
Big show, Orton, Shamus vs I didnt stick around to find out who.

Glad I aint paying for this

Got a load of WWE dvds in poundland the other day, kane, undertaker etc, each with about 8 random matches from each. Got the WCW best of the clash of the champions cheap in CEX as well.

His books are brilliant, I'd love to hear him talk and get a chat with him afterward. He seems a real kind of honest/vunerable guy and very warm, someone who the other wrestlers can talk to. He says he thought about becoming a priest when he was young, I can imagine him as a kind of priest/counseler role in WWE when reading his books.

Ric Flair's son, Reid Flair, dead at 25.

Found in a hotel/apartment room, possibly a drugs overdose, but not confirmed yet.

People are saying Ric needs to be on suicide watch, the Benoit incident nearly finished him off as he admitted himself. I hope he's stronger than that.

Sad news :(

On a lighter note, been watching a lot of late 80's WWF on Youtube, As a child we never had satellite TV, so it was this semi mythical event that only a few people in the school saw, unless you got invited over or they lent you a VHS. Certianly more cartoon like than the late 90;s stuff, but I enjoy it far more. Can't help but smile every time I watch it

I got the Saturday Night's Main Event DVD for Christmas, lots of matches and segments I hadn't seen before, great fun!

I love that era of wrestling, mid 80s to early 90s, both WWf and NWA/WCW were great then, lots of great characters and wrestling. 8)

Watch these instead of WM, then watch WM later so bits can be skipped
