From the forum issue 108
This month we'd like to know what your favourite Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool game (published or otherwise) is
Re: From the forum issue 108
Wiz 'n' Liz has exactly the sort of whimsical, accessible gaming that I enjoy, plus it was one of the very few games I could complete when I was a wee boy!

Re: From the forum issue 108
Leander or Galahad, depending on which machine it was on. 21 levels of gorgeous frustration. One of the first games I persevered with til the end. I still fire this up from time to time.
Thoughts and prayers.

Lemmings. Was largely the reason I got into gaming. Had an Amiga and was part of the box collection (with Captain Planet & Bart Simpson vs Space Mutants). Played it to death.

Re: From the forum issue 108
From their original lineup, it has to be Lemmings. Original, easy to play, but the level design was challenging. A classic that hasn't really been matched imo.
Following that, its obviously my namesake Wipeout 2097, still my favourite in the series for the home versions, though Pure on PSP is still a stunner.

I loved the first Wipeout on PSP - there was loads of free DLC released for it too which increased its lifespan greatly.
Re: From the forum issue 108
Hired Guns was an epic game, matched only by the epic wait for its release...
HADDOCKEN!

Re: From the forum issue 108
Lemmings is one of my all time favourite puzzlers, but wipEout 2097 was just so exciting! I saw it first on a friends Playstation, and it convinced me to go out and buy that machine, just for that game.
Re: From the forum issue 108
Forumla One 97 was a MASSIVE step forward in driving games and was the first time I felt like I had an arcade machine in my home.
Re: From the forum issue 108
They have made some really great games over the years but I just find it impossible to look past Lemmings. It was so amazingly original when released and inspired a host of clones and sequels. I still like to play the brilliant Lynx version to this day.

Overboard!
Such a unique game. The memories I shared with my friends on the multiplayer demo from PSMagazine, will never fade. One of the greatest multiplayer experiences to ever grace the Playstation.

Lemmings, or "Lemingtons" as my daft mate Paul used to call it, though to be fair it was his Amiga that I played it on so it was the sort of thing I had to put up with.
Also special mention for Destruction Derby, had many's a laugh playing that game in our flat.

Sentient. It's the most original, technically ambitious, and intriguing game on PlayStation.
Re: From the forum issue 108
It just has to be Lemmings, I have had a count up and I have it on 13 different platforms!
