The Missing Retro Gamer features

Aside from 'Why Nintendo Changed Gaming', what are the great articles you're still waiting to read about in your favourite retro magazine?

We need 'The Making of Total Annihilation' for the PC. That would make me a very happy chappy :D

Or ....

How did Atari muck up in the UK after the 2600 (when Commodore and Speccy ruled the land) considering the 600XL and 800XL looked so bloody good and the games were almost as good as the C64 too :D

I know getting Julian Gollop to talk is difficult and we've already done it once, but I'd love to see a nice 6 page making of Rebelstar and/or Chaos...

As opposed to just specific games, what other things do you think we're missing? The most controversial games ever, hidden gems that need to be played. Lists you'd like to see and so on.

How about a feature on odd licenses, IE games based on media that didn't obviously lend themselves to games.

A big feature on Novagen and Paul Woakes would be one of my most wanted articles...

Here's one to rush: a feature on games based on Olympics (or is this in the pipeline)?

"Breaking the Mould" - Games that pushed systems to their limit and beyond.

- A feature on FMV games.
- A feature on controversial/banned games.
- Something about cancelled games/sequels/ports.
- Hidden gems for systems like the 3DO, CD-i etc. Basically good games for systems that are largely (and unfairly) associated with crap games.
- A making of Darkstalkers (a personal 'want' for me).
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

+1 :D

Potentially a great article.*

* No games which included extra hardware inside the cartridges allowed though because that was cheating!
