It is the same game, the original Sega Ages release wouldn't play on model 2 Saturns, so they released a new pressing so it would play on all models.
Several people have had trouble getting hold of a copy, its very scarce and hard to get a copy.... I suppose Sega didn't want to press many new copies, I don't expect the first pressing actually sold to expectations.

Seriously considering ebaying that bad boy now. The normal release goes for a reasonable amount, I'm wondering how much that would go for...

Now would probably be a good time to do it before people are skint after Christmas.

Gradius Gaiden for PS1.
If a Jap MD turned up as well with decent cables etc I'd be interested in that. And someone to mod my PS2...

Still after complete PAL versions of Sonic Labyrinth, Sonic Blast and Sonic 2 in 1 on the Game Gear.
I did however get Tails Adventure the other month after about two years of looking. I don't think I've been as nervous as I was in the last minute of that auction for a long time! It's the single most amount of money I've spent on a game, but it gets me that much closer to a complete collection. It's also in remarkable condition for it's age/rarity.
As annoying as it is to try and find these games (I've only ever seen Sonic Labyrinth out of those other three, and that was one of the only days that I didn't search for it typically!), the thrill of finally acquiring a game you've been after for so long is amazing.

Many games have weird textures and filters that ruin the RGB. Stick to S-Video, especially if you want a PAL machine.

3 games short of a complete set

Have never seen it in the wild.

This was pulled off the shelves within a few months and replaced by Pachinko II. Stupidly rare.

I have this loose, but need the box to complete my set.
