3-2 away loss to Southampton yesterday.

Apparently we played really well in midfield and attack but were awful in defence.

Next up is the sheep shaggers at home, better win that one.

Went to watch Man City V Wigan yesterday. I feel like we are in dreamworld at the moment with the football we play. Have also got my ticket for the Champions League tie V Napoli on Wednesday night, Exciting times!

I know City are getting a lot of stick recently, but I have been there through the very dark times, travelling to away games in the third tier of English football. Having rivals such as Macclesfield Town and Colchester, So I do feel very grateful as to where we are at now and am going to enjoy the (potential) glory days.

I think man city will win the league, the squad is just so strong. The only thing that can derail them is a long run in the champions league.

Disappointing for liverpool on saturday, but that's life, stoke are hard to beat and we're still struggling a bit to find our feet. Ah well, only Tottenham away next!

City now are Arsenal from few years back. Arsenal are now...dunno, Tottenham before Redknapp? Or worse.

Watching them struggle against Swansea was rather painful, just scraping by. Ok, it`s a messy new squad, but still. Tough times ahead.
What makes it much worse is watching our old core players scattered around the league and enjoying it. Irony of Adebayor (kind of) scoring at Tottenham was hard to swallow :)

I liked City before takeover, when Ireland, Kompany and Shaun W-P were playing brilliant football. Of course now they`re "new Chelsea" - as if it was only saints in this league, who play for the love of the game and wouldn`t welcome some sheik with open arms. Ferguson might be a genius, but even he would be nowhere without spending power.

Not being a pedant , but Kompany signed after the takeover - albiet shortly after , he was one of the first signings , so he couldnt have been playing football before the takeover .

Anyone care to predict how the top 5 will look ?

1) Man U
2) Man C
3) Liverpool
4) Chelsea
5) Arsenal

I just hope the season carries on the same way - as its being breathtaking so far.

^^ I hope the first two get swapped around!

Kompany signed for 8 million, an absolute bargain I say. The Manchester Derby's are going to be epic affairs this year. Anyone fancy a bet on 0-0

I can't see us (Liverpool) coming above chelsea, but maybe fourth. It's hard to say how we'll get on, we've got half a new team and there are question marks over carroll, henderson, adam and coates, never-mind carragher, skrtel and kuyt.

I think arsenal's downfall has been exagerrated. But once the european games kick in maybe that's when liverpool could come into their own, with everyone else busy with midweek games and trips away.

Looking forward to gerrard coming back in the next couple of weeks, he hasn't really played with Suarez so it'll be good to see them two and downing together.

True, and further proof that I do live in a parallel universe sometimes.

As for Arsenal`s "downfall" - we`ll see over next couple of weeks. Since the collapse last season (anyone remembers we actually were strong contenders in all 4 competitions up to about that Carling Cup final malarkey) Since then it`s like a cartoon tumble-down. At the moment another god damn injury - Ramsey out.

vs Borussia live on telly tonight - dunno if I should watch this thou, trying to quit smoking :)

Yeah McClaren is a belter wherever he goes let's face it. Worst decision ever.com to bring him to Forest.

On a plus side I went down and watched the Swans destroy West Brom 3 - 0. It was very enjoyable, and now look forward to beating Chelsea.

au contraire, stay on, sign a longer contract. It's all for the best at that club and will be the best for all football fans worldwide.
