^ Losing our top scorer won't help (Andy Mangan's gone to Fleetwood), and the uncertain financial situation isn't exactly desirable either.
I don't envy Dean Saunders one bit right now.

Well, it's been confirmed that we have McClaren on a three year deal.

Cheers Villa fans.

Anything is better than Billy Davies though let's face it.

I actually didn't mind Billy Davies, he seemed like he could be a right censored and as mentioned previously he could never select a settled strike force but two play-offs in two seasons is pretty good to say we pretty much had the same team and no permanent left-back.

He also deflected a lot of attention away from the players to let them concentrate on playing but at the end of the day he's now gone and McClaren is in so shall have to see how he does.

On a player related note Nathan Tyson joined the sheep shaggers today.

Ha! I was thinking you meant he'd joined us or Cardiff for a minute then. Joining Derby from Forest shows poor loyalty from a player, even Bothroyd had the common sense to tell everyone he couldn't join us due to his loyalty to Cardiff, even though he left them. Not that we'd want him he's diabolical these days.

It's strange to think my main focus will be the Premier league rather than the Championship this season, I think the 2011 season will be a cracker in both divisions though.....

Except for Cardiff.

Scott Sinclair for us, haven't a clue about Norwich though? They never had a stand out player but their squad all performed so well together. Hence the promotion.

I'd say our best players are Wes Hoolahan and Grant Holt but really we are a team with a genuine work ethic and team spirit who play good football. Also the fact we scored twelve goals on the 90+ minute mark last season should tell you a lot about our belief, confidence and fitness levels - the only time Alex Ferguson will be unhappy at seven minutes of injury time being played will be against us :D

Not forgetting, of course, we also have one of the best young managers in the country...

He's the second player to cross the divide these past few seasons (Kris Commons being the other), but with Tyson it's even more galling due to the fact that when we beat them (twice) last season he made a song and dance at the corner flag in front of their fans inciting a brawl between both teams. Then he turns around and joins them.

Know there are a few non leaguers in here...anyone know much about Sutton Coldfield Town?
As our American owners have no clue about football or its fans I need somewhere to spend my football time and money and these are my local side....

Some excellent looking derbies there!

If Wimbledon beat Crawley in the preliminary round they would be going back to Selhurst Park!
