Humor games
What about a piece on humorous games? Like LSL, Conkers BFD, and other through out the years where "ze funny" was a main part of the game.
Re: Humor games
I've just downloaded Hector: Badge of Carnage Ep 1 for the iPad, really looking forward to playing it. People often talk about Monkey Island as being really funny, but I find that kind of American humour entertaining rather than laugh out loud funny. I would definitely like to see more British humour in modern games.
What's LSL?
The most I've laughed in games is during slapstick moments rather than actual comedic content - two player IK+ is a good example, and chopping off a mate's head in Barbarian is chortle-worthy too. Four player Warlords can descend a whole room in into full on belly laughs and tears.
What games make you guys laugh?

LSL means Leisure Suit Larry...
There's one game that really made me laugh - Cliff Hanger. Imagine being in control of the Acme gadgets Wile Coyote tries to stop the Road Runner with... only you are trying to stop a Mexican bandit, and if you get the timing wrong, it's you that gets hurt by the giant boulder, the cannon, the boomerang...

Re: Humor games
'Boogerman - a Pick and Flick Adventure' still gets a laugh from me even now, I'm ashamed to say!

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

Re: Humor games
There have been some great games that have made me absolutely laugh out loud over the years. I still think the intro to Superfrog is a great cartoon to this day and would watch it again now. I don't know if they made any more cartoons for the game though as I was actually pretty crap at the game.
I remember giggling like crazy finding fun stuff to do in How to be a Complete Bastard and all the funny stuff in No One Lives Forever too. I laughed so hard at 'unacceptable simian casualties' when I shot the monkey.
I've laughed at games like Beowulf though. If you've ever listened to the drinking song in the game, you'll know what I mean.
