The Pikmins, Zelda Windwaker are the only ones I can think off.

I though Mario Sunshine was rubbish.

I am hoping FF Crystal Chronicals is good cos I am gonna pick up a copy myself.

That Final fantasy game never got accepted into the hall of fame.. though I don't know, could be good..

A great and underated game. Well worth tracking down if you like classic scrolling shoot'em ups.

The gamecube is ace I have one but it has just been retired to a box as my wii plays all the games fine.

Harvest moon (for simple farming fun)
Animal Crossing (the GF will love it)
Chibi Robo (cleaning the house another GF fave)
Resident Evil (the best ever version on anything)
Tales Of symphonia (some good RPG action)
Paper Mario (platform fun)
Mario Sunshine (3d mario fun)
Metroid (a bit of fps blasting)
WarioWare (a must have for any party - insane madness)
any Zelda game
Final fantasy crystal chronicles (not your usual FF game but fun)
Retro when it wasnt cool

Has anyone mentioned the sheer class that is Eternal Darkness?

Me and my kids always have fun with Mario Power Tennis but that's obsolete if you've got Wii Sports Tennis!

I was waiting for someone to comment. Thought you had the sig images blocked out though?

Not strictly a Gamecube game (it was all-format, but I played it on the 'Cube) but if you can find Beyond Good and Evil, get it.

I agree with Eternal Darkness. An excellent, original game.

Tales of Symphonia was the first Japanese RPG I played and it comes in 3rd place in my all time fav RPG games.

Top spot in that list is Skies of Arcadia Legends. Its a port of the Dreamcast game with less frequent random battles (although I still feel there are too many of them). It is with out a doubt a brilliant game. I'd recommend it above anything else on this list.

Finally I'd add Mario Kart Double Dash as its a great party game. We always finish the evening off with it when the guys come round for game day. Just pure fun.

for a bit of pure fun Rogue Squadron 2 , Waverace (not as good as N64 version though) and LOTR 2 towers are worth getting

Killer 7
Metroid Prime 1 & 2
P.N.03
Pikmin 1 & 2
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
R: Racing (with free Pacman disc if you can find it)
Resident Evil Zero

Again, thanks for all the recommendations, I'll have a go at tracking most of these games down at some point.
