I am at stage two going on three on it
Built a good base (That goes under water and has a skull that hovers over) I will extend it
Now furnishing it with things

OK Oli, help me out. I just don't get Mr Driller. Are you supposed to go at it hell for leather, drilling like it's going out of fashion, or do you take your time carefully placing each drill bit? I've got the DS version and I struggle to get past the fourth stage.oli_lar wrote:Mr Driller via MAME, great fun. Love the music on it.

Re: What are you currently playing?
After moving the 360, Wii and PS2 into what was the dining room, I've now got a game room with my cabs, consoles and surround sound in it so thought I would christen it today with a bit of a sesh.
Returned to Mass Effect 2 and playing through in Hardcore mode (they're not f**king kidding). Broke it up with a bit of Pinball FX2 on the 360 and a few games on the Mame cab. All in all a very agreeable Sunday.

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

Been playing lot's of Retro Game Challenge and Kirby's Magic Paintbrush on DS. I really enjoy both of these games, would love to see 3DS sequels to them.
Also Double Dragon Advance on the GC via the GB Player. Not only is it the best version of DD I've ever played but also one of the best beat em ups regardless of format, amazing game.

A bit of both. You can't hang about or you'll run out of time, but you want to try and chain as many blocks as possible and pick up any air that you can.StickHead wrote:OK Oli, help me out. Mushihimesama Futari (360)
Crackdown 2
Had a quick look at Dead Space 2 but I don't want to get started on than until I've finished a few more games and I'm able to give it my undivided attention.

I've another take on this - go for the airs. Once you have a clear understanding of how things fall you should aim for 100% air capsules per stage. If going for score, as the points you get for doing this are immense. I used to be able to clear all the normal stages with all airs and no lives lost. Once you get it and realise how to cope with the blocks (the trick is to get the brown blocks together so they vanish) you don't have to go all manic, it can be quite a structured game.DPrinny wrote:First few drill down like a mad man.StickHead wrote:OK Oli, help me out. ^ I tend to gun it and hope I get lucky - it even works sometimes, seeing all those little blue guys so happy, even though you've destroyed their only source of food!

I have the 360 version, don't own a PS3 and if I did and that happened it would have been booted out the window.Antiriad2097 wrote:Which version? There was a bug in the PS3 one that corrupts the save game once you get beyond 85%ish depending on the missions played. Might have been patched now but was still an issue when I played last year.dste wrote:Decided to carry on and get 100% on Brutal Legend, currently on 91%.

Started playing Wario World on the Cube yesterday, played it for my blog and decided to carry on as I enjoyed it.
