Brian Wilson - the greatest musical talent the world has ever known. Possibly shouldn't be with us due to extensive substance abuse, but I am so thankful he is and hopefully he'll be around for a long time yet. (Only the late, legendary Frank Zappa comes close in greatness to Brian.)

Peter O'Toole. At least let him win an Oscar outright first.

'King' Kenny Dalglish. Years and years ahead of him; will secure many trophies for his and the world's beloved Liverpool. And what a talent he was during his playing years!

Clint Eastwood - reasons need not be given; he is simply legendary.

Personally, I'm dreading the day Rolf Harris, Patrick Moore, David Bellamy or David Attenborough dies.

Agreed, I was going to say Sir Patrick Moore, he's awesome.

William Shatner - egotistical sleazeball, but in the nicest sense.

It should be against the law to say his name quietly. Charismatic, adventurous and a fine cultivator of facial hair.
Top class choice there.

His hosting appearance on Have I Got News For You has to be one of the biggest strokes of genius ever.
