On a side note, dd anyone go to Gamesmaster Live at the NEC in '92? Me and my mate went and I remember the premier of Sonic 2, a showcase of the Super Scope, a trailer full of freeplay Street Fighter 2 clone/hack machines with some variations I've not seen since then even in MAME, and the icing on the cake was the premier of SF2 on the SNES - there was a 10-screen wide Nintendo stand of this game alone, and every one had a queue about 20 feet long all day.
I've not known anything even close to it since, and the only thing that came close was R3play nearly 20 years later!

Still think the Steve Perry/MArio 64 incident is hilarious.
As for DD , he's a brilliant host ; seems to know how to take the subject totally serious yet take the censored out of it at the same time - and get away with it. When Games Attack is a brilliant series , a shame that so few peole got to see it. His routine with the puppets is brilliantly funny , but the dance mat challenge with the page 3 girls is not to be missed (some great camera angles!) - and all on daytime tv. The man is a legend.
Mr Flibble says...
"Game over , boys!"

You mean Dave Perry, although that means giving more publicity to the shameless egotistical twatface.
And I have almost all of When Games Attack on tape, in fact I've used it for one of my YouTube vids.

That's a shame, was about to fire up YouTube and find the bit with the ex-Journey frontman on GamesMaster!

They're maybe not as bad as they seem,

Sorry for spoiling your fun, but I really can't stand the bandana-ed f*cker, saying he was one of the world's greatest gamers, yet he couldn't complete a simple challenge. I can do that, and I'm pretty poor at Mario 64.
And the excuses after, I'm surprised Dominik didn't deck him!

Yeah the Dave Perry wobbler on TV is one of the funniest things I've seen. I watch the old episodes I have every now and again, the final episode in particular as it is very poignant, ol' Patrick getting in the cab and driving off... *sniff* It's almost too much to take! :'(

Just watched it ... cringeworthy stuff! Dominik responded to the accusations of him being 'set up' pretty well there and let the tw*t dig himself a deeper and deeper hole. Him stood there sulking in the corner just before the end credits was priceless.
