I miss the old bigbox releases. They made pC games seem really special after crappy little PAL snes boxes.ShadowMan wrote:Awesome PC haul. I love the big boxes that the old PC games hadYou must have some serious shelf space to store all of those!

More GameCube titles and the end of my budget. That means no gaming items until February now.
Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur 2 and F-Zero GX - NTSC-J.

Street Fighter 2 Revival (GBA) - £4
Flight Control (Ipod Touch) - £1.19
Westbang (Ipod Touch) - £0.59
ZombieVille USA (Ipod Touch) - £1.19
Had a right nightmare with the Ipod Touch games though. Went to update my version of both Itunes and the Ipod Touch software, which was all well and good until ITunes decided to restore the factory settings on the Ipod without warning, and no way to cancel! I'm now waiting for 2,000+ songs, plus Apps and a few photos to be reloaded!

Where abouts in Birmingham are you? I'm at uni up there you see.
The next day delivery is what made me use them and hopefully it'll work out; if it does you'll know who to use!

I'm in Sutton Coldfield, north Birmingham, been there in my own place for about six years. I take it you're at either Aston or Central Birmingham for your course.[/quote]
Cool. I'm in Selly Oak usually, still at home after Christmas because of my broken ankle.
I gave in and took the plunge and ordered from GBAX. If it turns up tomorrow I will be a happy man, if not, Google checkout battle on Wednesday!

Never seen that Mean Bean Machine box before it's lovely! Don't suppose you can get a bigger picture of that?
Also, those PC games, yes - bloody marvellous, wish we kept all our boxes. They all got chucked because it was easier to store the CD cases on the inside...
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

That the PS2 version? Gameplay's spot on but I don't like how they've messed with the graphics and presentation. Lucky they got it right later with The Orochi Saga.tekaotaku wrote:went and picked up a copy of King of fighters 2000/2001 from BHF i saw a week ago for 1.99, bargin, mint it is, mint lol

Yea its the PS2 version, agree graphics are off a little, but like you say, the gameplay is there, and slowly getting used to it (never been a big SNK/NEO GEO fighter man apart from the last blade games) .Liamh1982 wrote:That the PS2 version? Great PC haul, hydrox! You got Tie Fighter and Dungeon Keeper. Two really great PC games. I wish I hadn't given away my copy of Dungeon Keeper! It was one of Bullfrog's best games in my opinion.
