Feast is still around, a lot of the Supermarkets sell them. They're smaller now though.mtsang12 wrote:
Does anyone remember the ice cream called Feast? I loved that, but they just seemed to have stopped without notice =/

Re: Food/Drink from the past
I remember loving little smoky bacon flavour pig-shaped 'corn-snack' things, a proper 3D hollow piglet if I remember correctly. Don't know what they were called though as it was sometime in the 80's.
See also, weird, multi-coloured, vile custard-cream type biscuits that had something to do with Star Wars, a bloke dressed as Darth Vader came and promoted them at the Leo's Superstore in Bath in the mid-80's, again, no idea what they were called.
I remember my mother eating Texan bars and also being partial to an Applause bar myself in the early 90's.

Quarterbacks - best crisp (oh alright, corn snack) ever?
As I recall they came in Cheeseburger (silver & red bag) and Burger Pickle (silver & blue) flavours

Thought of another 'corn snack', Sky Divers, little salt and vinegar flayour stick-man shaped things. Remember having these at a fireworks party when I was about 7...SirPsychoSexy wrote:Quarterbacks - best crisp (oh alright, corn snack) ever?

Texan bars - as mentioned above. Sweet tooth destroying pleasure.
I didn't know they'd been re-released and can't say I've seen any on the shleves. Not that I'm always looking at the sweet aisle!

I would try one but I suspect I'd be disappointed.

I don't know where you lot live but up here Feasts are available everywhere. You can get them from ice-cream vans, supermarkets and newsagents.
I was going to have one on Monday but got a 99 instead.
Does anyone remember 54321s?

You know, they haven't really got smaller. It's just that, over the interleaving time, your hands have become porky sausage fingers

Damn you! That 5-4-3-2-1 tune's looping round my head now!dste wrote:Does anyone remember 54321s?

I adored the 'cherry' version of 7UP as a kid that came in a pink can - bloody beautiful stuff and still my all-time favourite (soft!) drink, hardly ever see it now. The convenience store round the corner from me is the only place I know of that still sells cans of it.

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

I liked Coke with orange, although I seem to be the only person in Wrexham who did.

There's a shop around my way that still sells them. Had a couple of bags a few months ago. One of the best snacks ever. Cheeseburger flavour ftw!SirPsychoSexy wrote:Quarterbacks - best crisp (oh alright, corn snack) ever?
