Hopefully i'll be able to make this, depending on level of skintness nearer the time. I spent £30 on beer just during the saturday afternoon there when all my expenses were just meant to be on the ticket, I can imagine what with accomodation, travel, food etc it might be a bit too rich for me!

All the money I made at RR has gone straight out on rent too, not good :lol:

OK, as the event is taking place over the Bonfire night weekend and also during the final weekend of the illuminations I have had to act quickly. So I have just made a group booking for 25 rooms at the Premier Inn. It is approx 1.3 miles from the venue.

I have 20 twin rooms and 5 doubles for the Friday and Saturday night.
The cost is £60 per room for a single night (so £30 per person) or £110 per room for two nights.

The rooms will have to be paid for in advance, but not right now so you will have some time to find the pennies.

Ideally I would like these all to be taken for the 2 nights and not split so for the time being I am only accepting 2 day bookings, but if there are rooms left over I will split them.

This group booking is only being made available on RG, so we will be able to have a proper community bonding sesh on the Friday night!

If you want to get in with the big Retro Gamer Forum group booking let me know by PM.

Also, if you are travelling on your own and are happy to share a twin room I don't mind acting as matchmaker and putting 2 of you together so you can save cost.

Forgot to mention, Brekkie isn't included. It can be purchased for £8 per person when you are there, or there are plenty of greasy spoons in the area.

£150 to £400 for the traders to sell their wears? :shock:
I don't think the smaller traders will ever break even on this event?

We are not expecting small sellers at this show. Due to high costs for the venue, transportation etc. we have decided to offer stalls to large traders and recognised brands. We already have a couple signed up (including Console Passion and RetroGT) and are confident that there will be plenty of stuff for people to pick up on the day.

We figured that with so many events this year all having sellers in attendance (Rewind, VCF, Eurocon, RCM, RCF) that we would give all the smaller sellers (like myself!) a break :D

Yeah it is. All the prices wet up for the Illuminations and Bonfire Night.

Will have to lookout for a good fireworks display. I assume they do one on the beach somewhere
