Pressure people into jumping by sonicbooming, when they jump close to you, pull off a flash kick.MichaelH wrote:Turtle?
Haha, Ryu is by far the character I'm best with too, although I've never been able to regularly pull off Dragon Punches with any degree of accuracy, no matter which version of SF I'm playing, and no matter which controller I'm using...Rayne wrote:Ryu.
He's the only one I can use
I like Psylocke in that game. I prefer all the smaller characters really, Spidey and Wolverine are pretty cool too.SpeedBreaker wrote:I love the Juggernaut from Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men vs. Streetfighter. He's just so brutal - nothing beats sending someone flying across the screen with a Juggernaut Punch. He's great fun to fight against as well.
Probably because turtles are slow and that strategy is a slow and time-wasting one really. Can't say I ever use Guile myself really - hate charge characters because they just slow everything down and are harder to use in my opinion since you can't just pull off any move straight away. Don't even get me started on charge supers which I STILL cannot do.RetroKingSimon wrote: And why the hell is that Guile thing called 'turtle'?
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
Yes, I agree about charge characters, I rarely use any of them. Then again, I've never been very good at any SF games. I can't do counters, parries (except by accident), and rarely manage to pull off supers...Megamixer wrote:Probably because turtles are slow and that strategy is a slow and time-wasting one really. I can complete most SF games though. It took me bloody ages to beat Gill in Third Strike
