hi Nick.

I'll check into that. I've got a batch of emails to send out as soon as my home Internet connection gets set up... The book may have been sent already.

Send me a msg via the hiive books web site with your order number and I'll double check.

Anyone else got theirs yet?

Andrew

My book has arrived and I have to say it is FANTASTIC..

If anyone here is thinking about getting this book or just waiting to see what other people think before parting with their cash I urge you to place an order right now.

Totally agree, i love the Speccy so my favourite was that book, I also bought the C64 one as i wanted to support these books and plus its a great read. But the latest book is my favourite from Andrew as its great to read reviews on games on a variety of systems, some not so famous.

The future books really are making me happy though ! The worlds crying out for a MAME book in this style, an Amiga and Gameboy one so i cant wait for those !!

Strangely enough, waiting to see what other people think is exactly what I've been doing. God knows why because if there's a book more suited to my tastes out there I'd be amazed. Order has been belatedly placed!

I got the mail on Friday confirming despatch, but still no book :(
How long did your book take to arrive after the confirmation email?

I'm not worried, just can't wait for the book

I've managed to get my book from my old address so we can stand down red alert. Had a quick browse last night and it looks brilliant as always. Some of your dates for upcoming titles at the back seem a little optimistic!

I hope they do make it out on time, I for one will be preordering as and when, so fingers crossed on a prompt release.. (although for books this good, the wait is worth it)..
The Golden years trilogy is a great set of books, I'm so pleased to have them on my shelf and as I said earlier everyone who has an interest in retro gaming should support this project..
You can really tell when reading them that they are a labour of love...

Yeeees! My books arrived today (I ordered the C64 book also). I have to say that they even surpass my expectations.
When will a 16-bit book come out? :D

If you look at the back of the 8-Bit Book, the Amiga Book is scheduled for next year... that of course means Andrew and I have to finish writing it...

I'm going to lay down a challenge to the Andrews by attempting to get my next book published before the Amiga one. For added daredevilry, I'm not actually going to start writing it until January. :P
