Yeah this bit of news really has made my day. However, this game is most likely going to be dirge of the highest order.

I just wish Sega would either sort themselves out and start releasing quality software rather than drag even more of their mascots through the mud. It's just a painful reminder of what could have been. It's like the ex-Girlfriend that you don't want to think about (kinda lol), the out of sight out of mind mentality.

Haven't been following the game, but this piece of news caught my eye. Seems that Sega will be including Ryo from Shenmue in the game complete with Motorcycle and Forklift Truck

Now that I would like to see. The hoverboard powerup from that game could also be a viable vechile/mode of transport but nothing beats tearing it up in a tank

The folks who are making this made Outrun 2006, didn't they? I don't see how it can fail, especially considering the developer's pedigree and the fact that Mario Kart Wii was rubbish.

The inclusion of Ryo, with bike AND forklift (!!), elevates my SEGA-loving interest tenfold! YEEE HAW! I love Sega love-fests .. of which Shenmue was one of them.

When did people start thinking Demos were finalized versions of the games?

You should be happy, you're all getting a demo. I'm thinking about getting the Wii version, and we don't get a demo for that.

Oh, SEGA are bound to make a disaster of the release game - they always do.
If their past form is anything to go by, the race will start, you'll punch the accelerator button, then just as the car leaps off the line the game will pause with an un-skippable pop-up message saying 'To make your car go forward, press the accelerator button'.
