Wont put me off going to Asda, just one small incident in all their branches. You hear about these idiots though, the most stupid ones are the ones who film themselves doing it !

But its like that old urban myth about having an indian and then getting a stomach upset, you then hear the person goes to the hospital to have their stomach pumped and the doctors ask..., well i'll stop there ! People may be eating.
I wouldnt worry, if you start to worry about these things you'll never leave the house or eat anything !

Always found the Marc Almond joke funny, remember terry christian trying to ask him about that on the Word, Marc said 'i know what youre going to ask, i wont answer', then Terry said 'sorry (wiped his mouth), just need to swallow something....'. Marc didnt look too happy !ismellicecream wrote:urgh!

"It was made during my day off. I know there is no excuse for my atrocious behaviour and I am truly sorry for what I did back then. I express my profound apologies to Asda and to its staff and customers.
"Words are insufficient to express my regret and remorse.
"I am deeply ashamed of my behaviour and am prepared to suffer any consequences as a result of my inexcusable actions."
Clearly solicitor speak.
never heard of anything like this in the Asda I work at.
It's like McDonald's, I worked there for a while, you always hear the stories about people in burger joints spitting in the food, but it doesn't actually happen.

Some of the forum members think I be saying I don't want to my local ASDA as a general thing but that store I am telling you about is down the road from my place.

This is me local shop if iam thinking correctly, weeing in bins and the like.. Why would you lick raw chicken? Yes i want salmonella???
Anyhoo the man in question was marched off his 'new job' yesterday and was greeted by the police who wanted to ask some questions
The problem with this part of the world.. is at somepoint most people have worked with someone else, through asssociation and as a result there is always someone who knows the perp

Its does happen, the worse thing is, is when a manager tells you to sweep the floor and then fix up a burger for a customer - i've seen it happen...Elgin_McQueen wrote:"It was made during my day off. ,... however I do understand what you mean that it doesn't happen all the time.
The other thing you find is, people on the till who are handling dirty cash,
again are told to come off the tills and fix up a burger without washing their hands.
